2018 Social Design

Grow on the Go is a project designed to encourage self-care and bring awareness to the mental health benefits of gardening and horticultural therapy to UT college students. We sprout-up on campus with our mobile garden to give students opportunities to engage with gardening on a small scale. Their seedlings are transplanted to the UT Microfarm for them to visit throughout the year. We also provide herb starter kits for them to begin their journey in indoor gardening. With compassion, we can give ourselves the same kindness and care we’d give to a good friend.
